Can I use the same email for two accounts?
My young son wants to learn a language, but he doesn't have email. It looks like I can't use my email address to let him set up his own account, because I am already using it for my account. Does anyone know how to do this?
You could use the [Duolingo for Schools[(https://schools.duolingo.com/) system to do this for you. Create a classroom, and it will take you to a screen that offers you the opportunity to create an account for your son. When he's old enough to have his own email address, he can add it to his account. In the mean time, if he forgets his password, you can reset it for him.
You can do this with gmail though I wouldn't recommend it. Basically you put your email address and add a word before the @ sign.
So if your email was email@example.com you could put firstname.lastname@example.org.
You will get all the emails from duo that way.
The reason I don't recommend it is because my friends kids did it that way and they say that the account sometimes changes after they've logged in to the other person's account.
That's helpful and very kind, thank you. I've set myself up another email account (always useful!) and used that, but I will bear your suggestion in mind if my daughter decides she wants to join in!
