Feature Request: Generate "Strengthen your skills" quizzes off a set of selected lessons"

Can we have a feature where we are allowed to pick a set of lessons, to generate the "Strengthen your skills" quiz from ?

For example, I would like to generate a quiz based on all skills related to verbs (present tense, past tense, infinitive, future tenses, ir future, perfect tenses, etc). Otherwise strengthening those skills individually adds very little value, given you are already zeroed in on the tense/mood you are working on.

+1 vote.

Scrolling over all the MULTIPLE tense skills and other more "complicated grammar" stuff (which I have not yet finished for Portuguese) I already get the feeling, like you described, that there should be:
.
.
Special (selected) mixed tense / grammar practice lessons
.
.
.

For unknown words / sentences I already requested this here for a context popup and special menu item (e.G A+): https://www.duolingo.com/comment/18639522

There is a button inside each skill to practice only that one skill.

Thank you fvhoatt. I am aware of that. But hopefully the details in the description helped explain that I am looking for a little more than that.

Quoting "strengthening those skills individually adds very little value, given you are already zeroed in on the tense/mood you are working on."

What I am looking for is to be provided a menu from where I pick up the list of skills to generate my "strengthen your skills" quiz. Does that make sense ?

Recently, I've noticed that if I'm practicing a skill toward the top of the tree (with Irish, it's usually prepositions, because while they seem to stick fairly well in the context of a lesson, I have a hard time reaching for the right one in a real life conversation), once in a great while the next to last exercise will be a random one from much further down the tree. I have a feeling it might be a bug, and I don't know if it's exclusive to the Irish course or across all of them... but I always love it when that happens, because having something thrown at me way out of context (wasn't planning on tackling that skill, might or might not even remember which skill it's from) is incredibly helpful, if often difficult - especially in timed practice!

By contrast, the strengthen skills button just gives me whatever words it deems weak, which usually translates as "words I haven't seen for a while," and while that's occasionally helpful, it also results in a lot of translating "hello," "I eat bread" etc, which is not terribly helpful.

All of which is my way of saying, yes please, something like this would be amazing.

This (the one random question from another skill) has happened to me in both my French and Norwegian course. I always refresh the most advanced skills first.

Is there a way to know whether this request was reviewed ?

I agree, it devalues the training a fair amount when I can only train one tense at a time. 'the last one was he had walked, so of course this one will be she had driven.'
