Or "rooster". But hey, "cock" is not only more similar to "cocos", but it's also easier to remember "cock"; it stands up, I mean, it stands out.

OK guys. problem solved. Best translation is now "I have a rooster" so that in reverse there is no obscenity any longer. In Romanian cocoș is only a bird, men do not have "cocoși" unless they are farmers, that is.

Both cock and rooster are accepted in the course (this sentence included), therefore you should have no issue :-)

"Cock" is British English, "rooster" is what it's called in American English. Duolingo recommends Am. English as the default, so "cock" or "cockrel" should be shown only as alternatives despite the pun fun using "cock"!
