Yes, if you set up a classroom learning English from Vietnamese, the invitation should match. =]

My student has now set her computer to Vietnamese, versus English, and she was able to choose Learn English.

However, the instructions aren't in Vietnamese yet. The course settings are set correctly: Learn English for Vietnamese Speakers.

Hi and thanks for your response. I'm so happy to have your attention. Not only is the handout in English, but in your drop down menu, my students don't have a "learn English" option. Should I just set up the class again, e.g. try it from scratch a second time? Or, since you're admin can you go in and check what's going on. Thank you very much! I have two Vietnamese friends testing this courseroom with me, so we are available to help Duolingo troubleshoot if that's useful for you. It's useful for me to have them to work with!

I think you need to check the settings for your classroom. What is the Duolingo language course set to? What about the what language do your students speak setting?

Ok, having the same issue here. I did not choose a language because I have multiple languages. My students can't find English.

So your classroom has no language set, either as base language or learning language?

No, are there instructions for teachers some place?

Yup. There's a whole help section for Duolingo for Schools. Just go to the Schools page, scroll to the bottom, and click help.

Ugh, may as well have read Idea instructions on how to put together a dresser.
