NAME ARTIST ALBUM RATING Here is my current latin playlist, all songs were added because I found work sheets on zambombazo, or yabla spanish, and I like them. But they all have something you can learn even if just listening to different dialects.

Nek - Deseo que ya no puede ser (Italian with a very clear Spanish dialect)

Los Rakas - Enamorado De Ti

Simoney-Me Imagino

Maria Teresa Velez - Sin Miedo a Perder

Don Tetto - No Digas Lo Siento

Julieta Venega - Tuve para dar (Letra)

Hello Seahorse - Buen Viaje

Zoe - Nada ft Enrique Bunbury

Zambombazo has worksheets (for current year) you can print out and do with the matching songs.

You can always print english/spanish lyrics and do your own transalations.

You can listen Juanes, he's colombian... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kRt2sRyup6A or Zoé, a great mexican group https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7h2ryr_uUEs or in this song you can distinguish some diferences between latinamerican and european spanish : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VuDc8HQ3Rbg

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zjpSX6fCPDc This one highlights Reik attaching pronouns to verbs, what a powerful language to "bust a rhyme" so to speak.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qExd-3oCTl4 This one shows the romance/beauty of Spanish. When she says ". to drink whats prohibited" I can't help but be impressed by the romantic naughtiness of that line every time. And when she says "...send you songs by 4 40." she is referring to a band, not a timing or key signature. Before this one I always confused cuatro cuarenta , but I don't have that problem any longer.

Edit: Lol I was looking at the others, lexxybooty has this same song!

Edit 2.0: Someone mentioned Juanes here is one considered Level 1 on spanish yabla.

A dios le pido by Juanes is my favorite spanish song.

RICARDO ARJONA

Lo Mejor de Lo Peor

A Ti

Te Quiero

Para Que Quieras Como Quiero

El Problema

Acompaname A Estar Solo

Iluso

Fuiste Tu'

El Amor

Mujer De Lujo

Si No Tu Existieras

...just to name a few. I sing along every evening, it has really improved my ability to pronounce quickly, and it taught me words and concepts I would have never otherwise been exposed to. the bolded song titles are my favorites, and of those, if I had to pick one, my choice would have to be iluso (racy lyrics warning)
