No, absolutely not. "Acea este o bucătărie" is wrong. It should be "aceea", because it has a definite article, just like "acesta" and "acela".


Why is this the distance pronoun and not the proximity version of it, i.e. aia instead of asta? Or to put it differently, how should we know which one we should use here?
