Google Translates Recent Improvement Of Danish Speech
There has been an improvement the vocal component of translate. If you give it a try, you'll find that the 'accent' is much more danish and so are the intonations.
It has become more feasible to use google translate for pronounciation, however it's still not a substitute for ordnet.dk
Here is one where google got it right:
Word: Adgangskode (Password) Ordnet: http://ordnet.dk/ddo/ordbog?query=adgangskode Google: https://translate.google.com/?source=gtx_m#da/en/adgangskode
Google got it wrong:
Word: Nå (Well, Oh, Reach, Make it [Kan nå]) Ordnet: http://ordnet.dk/ddo/ordbog?query=n%C3%A5 Google: https://translate.google.com/?source=gtx_m#da/en/n%C3%A5
Google didn't get it wrong. It just seems to only know one definition of the word, but for that definition it got the pronounciation right. You can spell it with an H to help it along the way: https://translate.google.com/?source=gtx_m#da/en/n%C3%A5h
