Returning to your lesson from Discussion

[deactivated user]

Whenever I scroll a discussion related to my answer in a lesson, it can happen that I accidentally hit the name of a person who has participated. There I have not found a way to go back to my active lesson. If I hit the back-arrow on my web reader, it takes me to the home page, and my progress on that lesson is lost. Normally a discussion is closed with the little x in the top right corner, but not if I have clicked a person. Is there a solution, and did I make this clear?

Yes, this question has already been posted by me in the troubleshooting forum: https://www.duolingo.com/comment/18658804

It also included a very concrete workaround programming suggestion pointed to DuoLingo staff.

Can you please help me up-vote it, so it is visible to DuoLingo staff again? It is not visible anymore with -5 votes.

I don't think that would be useful at this stage. Since this question is the same, and since this question is visible, I can't see what having another discussion on the same subject would achieve, especially since this one is so concisely worded.

The lesson only keeps going for as long as you stay on the page. If you click on a link to take you somewhere else, the lesson is interrupted. The only solution is not to click on links you don't want to go to.

Clicking on a link in the discussion breaks the lesson (Android): https://www.duolingo.com/comment/18665511
