What makes you think so? The german sentence really suggests parents carry their children, everywhere in the world.

That's not the point, the sentence says something completely differnt. Don't you ever lift a child and carry them on your arm or back? That's what the sentence says and that parents do that everywhere in the world. Taking someone around is something completely different in geman.

How is "Parents carry your children worldwide" correct here? Shouldn't the ihre be capitalised for that to be possible?
