bio(graf-er)

Hello, is the plural of the word 'bio' bioer? Or do you have to say biografer? Can it be bior? I can't find it in a dictionary...

Now that you ask, I realised that it's extremely uncommon to use "bio" in the plural. I'd go for biografer.

Do you mean a movie theater? We use "bio" in singular but "biografer" in plural. I think it might be possible to say "flera bion" but that is rare.

But "bio" shouldn't decline like that, to be honest, since it's not an ett-word ending in a vowel. If I were to make it plural, I'd opt for "bior" but it sounds really awkward.

I wish they would fix bio in tiny cards... they have it listed there as an ett word.

I'd use bion as the plural, without any hesitation. So it seems to depend on the dialect.

I'd probably say 'biosar' or maybe 'bior' if I had to say something. Definitely 'biografer' in a serious context though.
