Klar Tale and the like are getting a little stale now, so I'm looking for some more advanced sites on a wider variety of subjects. I'm struggling to find anything suitable in Norwegian.

Specifically, I'm interested in languages (obviously), gaming, literature, movies in general, and a whole ton of geeky stuff.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated, even if they're unrelated to the subjects mentioned above.

Thanks in advance. :)

  • Aftenposten is the New York Times of Norway. It's generally written in very proper Bokmål, so it'll be relatively easy to understand. Very interesting articles.
  • NRK is Norway's BBC/NPR. There are more dialects represented here, so be wary. The NRK media includes podcasts, videos, and so much more, so it's definitely worth checking out.
  • NRK Filmpolitiet a website devoted to film, game, and TV reviews.
  • Wikipedia is perhaps an obvious choice, but still worth noting for reference material about pretty much anything.
  • Store norske leksikon Norway's own version of Wikipedia, written by professional essayists and scholars.
  • Reddit /r/Norge it doesn't get any more authentic than this! Keep in mind most Norwegians are not professional writers and occasionally commit spelling/grammar mistakes.
  • Gaming a whole website about video games!
  • Forskning.no a fascinating website about the latest developments in science

Second forskning.no. It is a good idea to subscribe to newsletters covering your areas of interest.
