Is this proper

I am in the process of getting adjectives and their ending down. So Is this proper grammar?

я говорю маленький русский

November 28, 2016

I'm not a native speaker, but I'm pretty sure маленький means "little" in the sense of "small", "a little bit" would be немного (не + много). Also, instead of русский you should say по-русский (= in Russian), so your sentence would be: Я немного говорю по-русский.

Hopefully a native speaker will confirm what I just said, or correct me if necessary.

It is almost correct. "По-русски" is an adverb, there is no need for the letter "й" at the end of this word.

Thanks! I'll be more careful next time :)

From the roots of the words you used "я маленько говорю по-русски" is possible in some cases, but on your level of language mastery I would advise to use "Я немного говорю по-русски"
