If I'm not wrong, Σταυρός is a proper name for men, isn't it? In Spanish is for women (despite Beckham's second or third son who was born in Spain and named Cruz...)
It's Σταύρος with the accent mark on αύ. :) The same thing happens to Χρίστος/Χρήστος so that it is not confused with Χριστός (Jesus Christ)
I see in this sentence it is “ένα χριστιανικό σύμβολο¨. I wonder if the other sentence without the ένα is a glitch?
