"Un pato negro se come una manzana."
Übersetzung:Eine schwarze Ente isst einen Apfel.
What is the difference between this two sentence:
"Un pato negro se come una manzana." "Un pato negro come una manzana."
In which cases should I use the word "se"?
I am native german, learning spanish. I had the same question and asked a friend of mine. She told me that you can use "se" in addition to "comer", if the whole food is eaten: "Un pato negro se come una manzana." means "A black duck eats up an apple." or "A black duck eats an apple completely."
