English native speaker - you have to say "a glass of cold water" in English. I suppose you could say "a glass with cold water in it", but it is rather long-winded. Can this be changed please?

Cold water glass has to do with the glass, not the water. So the sentence is wrong.

It sounds very unnatural. „Asupra” is usually used in a more abstract and profound context. It would be better to say „Torn paharul cu apă pe tine.”

The English translation is not bad. It is simply wrong.
