"ăsta (m. sg.)/ asta (f. sg.)/ ăștia (m. pl.)/ astea (f. pl.)" is a familiar way of referring to someone/something and it's never used formally or in documents and it's also a sign of rudeness when referring to someone you just met with ăsta, or even to someone in a position of respect
