Hey, I know all nouns need to be capitalized. But isn't Ich a noun? Do pronouns not count? Because in lesson 4, it said "Du lernst, ich spiele". It didn't capitalize "Ich".

Pronouns aren't capitalized. Ich is a personal pronoun and therefore needs a minor i, unless it's in the very beginning of a sentence.

Thanks. I hate how pronouns don't get the same respect. :(

One quick clarification. The pronoun "Sie" and its derived forms, such as "Ihnen", are capitalized when they mean the polite "you". Properly, "with you" is "mit Ihnen" and "with them" is "mit ihnen".

If you want to be polite with a friend, you can capitalise the "Du" as well. I think it is a bit old fashioned but I like to do it. :)
