Would love some encouragement from friends!

It isn't easy not having friends on duolingo to help motivated you at all. I consider myself quite good in French, however when it comes to Russian... It's a problem because this is my first time learning it. Therefore, if anyone is excellent in Russian or any other language that would love to help each other out, that would be a blast. So add me or which ever you prefer. Thank you :)

Welcome to the Russian course! It can be pretty tough going at times, but there are lots of native speakers and other learners who are eager to help. Don't be afraid to post in discussions with questions.

I am struggling with Russian myself and have currently paused my efforts of learning it, but I would love to get back to it.

Welcome! I have found Russian a very friendly course, in terms of people around who are willing to answer questions - often in incredibly helpful detail. As Theron says, don't be afraid to ask questions in the discussions.

Well I'm a native Russian speaker currently learning Italian. I would not take the liberty of claiming that I'm excellent in Russian though :D that language has never been my strong suit. That's to say, I'm good with words but I'm not very well up in the grammar....But anyway, I'm at your service.

And good luck to you in your future endeavours!

Hey! I first learned Russian many years ago at the Defense Language Institute when I was in the Army. I got the duolingo app just to see how much I remember and I am having a blast.

Hmu for any help. The word order is quite different than English but it becomes second nature after a bit. It might help to watch some Russian movies on YouTube to get a feel for how different people sound.
