Short How-to Guides for using Focloir.ie [NEID]
I notice that the New English Irish Dictionary - An Foclóir Nua Béarla-Gaeilge has posted some short videos on YouTube explaining how to get the most from some features of the site.
The videos are available in both Irish and English.
Clicking on C M U plays sound files for Connacht Munster Ulster. Clicking on verb gives a conjugation popup. Clicking on prep gives a declension popup. And bearing in mind the caveats, phrase search is very useful.
But best of all they are excited about Irish and they continue to innovate!!!
:D :D :D Listening to the English and then to the Irish versions showed me that my comprehension of spoken Irish is hovering just above 0%. Táim ag déanamh dul chun cinn.
