"Han er ikke en mann vi trenger i verdens viktigste jobb."
Translation:He is not a man we need in the world's most important job.
Why is it in that order? Wouldn't the equivalent english be "I hope"? If I had started a new sentence it would've been jeg håper right?
The first part of the sentence is 'vi kommer til å overleve'. If you had started a new sentence, then you could've said "Jeg håper". But this is an uncommon sentence, you'd usually state what you're hoping for.
There's a difference between "We will survive. I hope." and "We will survive, I hope.". The latter can be rewritten as "I hope (that) we will survive".
