I said: In this area is there a supermarket? Why was this marked incorrect?

Mixing of sentence parts. In one the subject is the area, in the other three supermarket.

I don't understand, in English the sense is the same.

Shouldn't be possible "any supermarket"?

The answer of the English translation is "Is there a supermarket in this area?". But I am wondering if a Hebrew speaker would ever rearrange their sentence to match this English translation such as "יש סופרמרקט באיזור הזה" ? Or would this be completely unnatural to speak or even be incorrect?

What about a hypermarket?

Well, a היפרמרקט would be a fusion of סוּפֶּרְמַרְקֶט and חֲנוּת כֹּלְבּוֹ department store.
