Esperanto lives countdown.
Reminder that the Esperanto lives youtube mass upload is on 15th december again this year.
Why not take a few minutes this weekend to record a short film in your own language saying who you are, what esperanto is , why you are learning it and what it means to you. Then upload and publish on youtube on December the 15 (zamenhoff's birthday). Let's keep the increasing awareness and momentum going!
(can somone with better spanish than mine translate this and post on the other discussion group)
Hello, ionasky! I was studying Esperanto on Duolingo, but it was only for a few days, today I'm studying only english. Even though I'm not studying Esperanto currently, could I make a video in my native language (Brazilian Portuguese) about Esperanto language?
Absolutely. The whole, point is to show how widespread esperanto is and to encourage people,to give it a go
(It is in Argentine dialect, so instead of "eres" i wrote "sos" and instead of "tu" I wrote "vos", change it if you want)
(I changed the last sentence because "Momentum" translates as "Momento", which also means moment, and awareness translates as "conciencia", which is hardly used by anyone)
Feel free to publish it there and good luck!
Last year everyone uploaded on their own channels, then Chuck Smith (amuzulo) made playlists of them:
Some were rather unexciting testimonials (probably mine included), but others were actually pretty clever. Here is my favorite:
Thanks for reminding me about that one, it was brilliant!
Samantha is clearly too clever for her own good and we will have to hunt her down and...
I have never posted on YouTube and do not have an account? Short instructions for us non-YouTube-istoj? Antaŭdankon, Jim
There are lots of websites and things that explain in far better detail than i can. Younwill need a youtube account but its easy. Take a look here and follow the steps. Just be aware uploading can take ages! Have fun. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=YMndprcylro
What YouTube channel would this been on? I searched and I haven't found anything yet.
Because there is already enough of that. And Esperanto needs attractive media content using it, not more boring testimonies about it. I know that one can think that the own testimony it's important because it shows passion and good arguments. Well, people not always see it like that. And in this case, even less.
No one forces anyone to take part and some people are moved by their friends participation. If its not for you, then its not for you, feel free to go and create the kind of content you are looking for. Be part of the solution! :-).
