Translation:It is not lighting up, it is lighting down!
what is this supposed to mean? the english translation given doesn't really make sense, to me at least
They wanted to say that it is getting dark, but I think it is a mistaken translation, word by word, really senseless... I report it.
This section of Duolingo really is like playing roulette - "getting light" is rejected here, & "lighting up" suggested. "Lighting up" would normally be followed by "a cigarette"; I've never heard this phrase used with reference to weather.
Well I would say you could light up a room not just a cigarette. But something specific does need to be lit up. Never heard of lighting down.
I thought it was to say the lightening wasn't sheet lightening it was fork lightening so looked at this for you lot to explain!
