Welsh course review?
I am almost finished with my Polish tree and considering trying Welsh next. I've always wanted to learn it, and was happy that Duolingo came out with a course; has anyone finished the course with good results? How does it compare to other courses?
I haven't finished yet, but it is very well organized and quite extensive! And I believe they are looking to fine-tune the existing tree and perhaps add another section :)
I have completed the course but I already understood quite a lot of Welsh before I started so I can't comment from a beginner's perspective. As an intermediate learner the course has definitely helped improve my ability to construct sentences in Welsh.
The course has been out of Beta for some time now and the course contributors have worked hard to get rid of errors and add alternative translations for sentences. There are one or two things which they can't correct until Tree2 is released but these are highlighted in the skill notes and tips. The course contributors are on Duolingo regularly and reply to questions about particular sentences promptly (generally within a few hours), which I think really enhances the learning experience.
I would definitely recommend the course. Pob lwc/good luck!
