Listen to the radio anywhere in the world!

As many people here would know, a great way to immerse yourself into a foreign language is by listening to the radio or music.

Today I discovered a relatively new website (in fact, it just launched yesterday). It's called Radio Garden, and it allows you to find and listen to radio stations all over the world via a navigatable globe.

As I said, it's still very new, but I personally think it could have potential as a language learning tool, as it could help develop an ear for your target language. :-)

I'm having way too much fun with this. Found a rap station in Portugal and an EDM station in Scotland while looking for talk radio lol. Thanks for sharing.

Same here. I came across a few surprises myself, like an English-language station in Korea and the British band Madness playing in south-west Africa. And you're welcome! :-)

There's also something called "Pagan Metal Radio" out of Madrid, if anyone's interested. XD

Thanks for this. Looks great :) A site I use for listening to foreign radio stations is: TuneIn .. They also have an app so you can listen on your phone or tablet as well.

My wife was telling me about this yesterday. I have several country-specific radio apps on the iPad already so I am less interested in running this one down.

In Australia, we have IheartRadio! It's pretty much the same.
