too many exercises on the mobile app have no hints/definitions for new vocabulary

The language is difficult enough for English speakers, but it seems like a very high percentage of the Vietnamese exercises on the mobile app introduce new words without offering the hint feature. I don't recall any other language here having so many hint-less sentences. Has anyone else noticed this?

I have noticed that too , however new words get the translation hover , sometimes It is the second or third Time you see It (and that does suck ) but typically it happens the first time you see it, that is why I take NOTES OF EVERY WORD AND SENTENCE FOR REFERENCE !! :) That will help you if you do it

Now that I'm on vacation and am at my desktop more often, I've switched to the web version, and it's much easier. I'd say that Vietnamese Duo is not one you should do on your phone.
