Some Brazilian Portuguese slang

Some slang and informal speech you'll probably hear a lot if you go to Brazil.

Encher a cara. Lit: to fill the face. Meaning: to get drunk/ to drink.

question: E aí? Answer: E aí! lit: and there? M: what's up?

Question: beleza? Answer: Beleza! lit: beauty? meaning: q: how do you do? a: fine!

Alemão. lit: german meaning: usually used to refer to blond guys.

dragão/baranga/bagulho/mocréia lit: dragon/*/stuff m: very ugly woman

massa/descolado/da hora/furioso/irado lit: pasta/cool/of the time/furious/angry m: cool/great/fantastic

matar a aula lit: kill the class(lesson) m: to go to school, but leave before the class starts

moleza/barbada m: a piece of cake

cara-de-pau lit: wooden face m: shameless

molhar a mão de lit: to wet one's hand m: to bribe

moleque/piá/guri/pivete/rapá/menino/garoto m: boy

menina/guria/moleca/mina/garota m: girl

pisar na bola lit: to step on the ball m: to scr*w up

que saco! lit: What a bag! m: damn!

zoar de/avacalhar em / folgar em/ ser folgado m: to mock someone

galinha (man) lit: chicken mean: a man that dates lots of women, usually unfaithfull

galinha/vaca/cadela (woman) lit: chicken/cow/❤❤❤❤❤ meaning: ❤❤❤❤❤ (not the dog's female)

vadio: lazy man vadia: ❤❤❤❤❤ ( once more, not the dog's female)

gelada/ ceva/cerva lit: a frozen one m: beer ( ceva is short for cerveja: beer)

pagar o pato lit: pay for the duck m: being blamed for someone's else mistake,etc...

Well, these are just some examples. Remember that I am not telling you to use this slang, I am just presenting some slang that is very current nowadays.

To finish, a paragraph full of slang that I'd like a gringo to translate.

O alemão chegou cheio de moral, dando em cima da mina. A mina não foi com a cara dele e deu um fora nele. O alemão se ligou que a cantada dele era palha, daí ele encheu a cara de pinga e largou de mão.
