food and drink accepted. I reasoned that since "thực ăn was food, "nước uống" surely had to be drink.
My thoughts! Water in this context probably means "something to drink" and not specifically water.
why oh why now is water which for the 1000+ times we've written it as just "nuoc" now "nuoc uong"?
Chris was right tho. a simple "nước" could be enough to understand as water. but here's a short list of types of water.
- nước lã: water
- nước suối: natural spring water
- nước giếng: well water
- nước lọc: filtered water
- nước (đun) sôi: boiled water
