List of learned words

Hi,

why isn't there a list of learned words like it is available in other languages like spanish. [1] I think that it is a good way to keep in mind all the learned words. :)

Does anybody know something about ?

I guess, that is going on in all those courses, they are still in the beta-phase.

There is a trick to get the word list, which was already discribed in another thread. But I did not find the link now. So I describe it with my words:

(1) Open a second Tabulator of your browser with Duolingo

(2) Switch to a course that has a word list, f.i. German

(3) Now go again to the first tab, where you have opened the Hungarian course, press F5 to refresh the content, and now switch the language course back to Hungarian.

(4) Now you go into the second tab, where you still see the german course. But when you click on the words-Icon you get the hungarian word list.

But I would be careful with this list: some words are still without a translation, some others are listed double or tripple and sometimes it is not really correct or misunderstandable.

For example: if you take the word "rossz" it shows the translation "bad", and if you take "rosszak" you get the translation "faulty".

Actually "rossz" means "bad" as well as "faulty"; but the form with the suffix "-ak" is the pluralform.

As I wrote: I would be careful :-)

Only the core language courses of Duolingo have it. It is not related to being in beta. It may be worthwhile to create a FAQ section since this one question is producing several new threads per week :(

I found similar threads like mine after creating this one. The search option isn't that good (or it just doesn't like me :D)

It's not your fault ;) The search option is bad, it seems to show all existing articles unless you use a lot of specific keywords. And indeed, once your question is posted, similar threads do show up. This would be good material for a FAQ sections, because there are lots of questions about the features of the course and the answers to those are always going to be the same.

It's sad that the workaround doesn't seem to work anymore. Who likes restrictions that don't have a reason?

Unfortunately your trick isn't working for me. As I am switching the language back to hungarian the section words disappears. Like I sad above the "subpage" /words leads to an Error 404 Page for me :/ But thanks for your answer!

It has been removed, I guess.
