What is the point in this quiz? I got 500/500 in it, full marks, and I am nowhere near fluent. I didn't cheat, and answered the questions pretty quickly. What is it even supposed to mean? I am 100% what? It certainly doesn't reflect any level of fluency.

Preparing for downvotes. :/

Duolingo itself can only take you to a certain level, a level far from fluency. It's used to show how well you've mastered the Duolingo material (or the random selection they show you). Really that's when you need to get away from duolingo and actually into real Irish material.

Do you have any real Irish material suggestions for after duolingo?

Books. Go to Litríocht.ie or Cló Iar-Chonnachta and find some kids books to start with. Listen to TG4 or Raidió na Gaeltachta. Find speakers to talk with.

You are definitely doing great though. I wish I could get a perfect score on my quiz, someday hopefully, though in Irish, I think it will take me a very long time.
