"Siberia is the coldest!"
Translation:Siberia ydy'r oeraf!
i thought when using superlatives and comparatives you put the noun at the end? i could be making this up but i thought that was a correction from earlier lessons.
Superlatives always use this pattern and it's the same pattern for all emphatic sentences.
Sioned yw hi = She's Sioned
Athrawes yw Sioned = Sioned is a teacher
Siberia yw'r oeraf = Siberia is the coldest
The word order for the comparative is the same as standard sentences
Mae Siberia yn oer = Siberia is cold
Mae Siberia yn oerach na Ffrainc = Siberia is colder than France
