Helvetica actually means Swiss in Latin(Helvetia=Switzerland, probably the origin of the Romanian word)
Would, "Many watches are from Switzerland" work? (I understand 'vin' might require the word 'come)
Also -- how would one say "A lot of wine watches(clocks) from Switzerland" and how would it differ? (As if there were some sort of device, just play along)

yes, they represented some 21 billions US dollars exports last year. But they represent only some 8% of our total exports which are mainly made of precision machines, electronics and medicine and chemical products.
