"Except for him, each of us likes summer" should also be accepted

We do not say "except from him" in English. The Duolingo answer is wrong.

Why is mỗi used and not mọi?

I see đều translated as "both" in other places. "Both" is a group of two. If this is also true here, then "each of us" means "each of us two", which makes no sense in this context.

"Each of us all like summer" should also be accepted. Yeah, it's redundant, but common usage.
