How can my students access their assignments?

I just started my own duolingo course last week. My kids are homeschooled, and I want them to start as well. I tried to create separate accounts for them, but they don't have their own email addresses. So I tried to create an account for my daughter using my alternate email. But that just replaced my profile with her username- which was frustrating to say the least! Next, I created a classroom and added them. I was able to create an assignment for them. BUT I still can't figure out how they can access the assignment. There's no way for them to actually start the lesson.

  • Your children may have to choose the language you set up the classroom up in (eg. French, Spanish, Italian, German).
  • Like all duolingo users, they have to start at the basics. If you are attempting to give them a lesson somewhere in the middle of the tree, they will have to do all other lessons before that one.
  • They must log in with the username and password provided by Duolingo, which Duolingo should have forced you to download as "Duolingo_roster.pdf"

Did I answer your question? If not, please feel free to message me at any time. Though I may be only in the 9th grade, I have set up several classrooms for myself on Duolingo for schools.
