Can someone recommend modern pop songs in Swedish? Most of the songs I found are pretty old fashioned.

What type of songs are you looking for..? I mean, do you want "good" music och do you want songs that can teach you swedish?

I want good music, which I enjoy listening. :) Any Swedish song will help me improving my skills I guess.

I'm a big fan of Melissa Horn myself. I like her style and I think the songs are not too hard to understand. My favorite is jag saknar dig mindre och mindre

Two others I've found are Kent and Håkan Hellström (Kent have been around since the 90s, so I'm not sure if that counts as old-fashioned now ;)

A tip I've picked up is that if you're looking on Youtube, adding "med text" will often get you both Swedish and English lyrics on screen.

Thanks for the Melissa Horn tip- I'll be listening to that most of today I think!

Alina Devecerski? Hm...her parents are from Poland/Czech/Slovakia/Serbia? She even doesn't look very scandinavian... Her facial features reminds me Polish girls. Hm...is there any info about her origin?

[edit] Just checked it. Yup, Serbia:)
