Is there any way to filter the results? Anything I type return thousands of results since the new subscriptions feature.

I have a similar problem. I type in a quite specific subject and get masses of results. Then it's go through each one until I find what I want or, more likely, just give up since I don't have unlimited time.

If you want results from a specific forum, try clicking on just that forum in the Your Subscriptions section. I'm still learning how everything works with this new layout. Hopefully that will!

It doesn't work for me. Yesterday I was trying to find a sentence from English for Brazilians to help a friend who wasn't understanding its meaning. I did exactly what you said, and duolingo returned 47829 results, mostly with English discussions. I tried to click on "sentences" too, but it didn't work. Thanks for trying to help.

If you want to ask a question about the language you are learning, click on that particular forum before entering your search term.
Then, you can filter those results by clicking on one of the following: Popular, New, Sentences, Top All Time.

If you search from the main Discussion stream, you may filter results by clicking on Popular, New or Followed.
