Two Norwegian bonus skills?!

I just completed three "strengthen skills" for Norwegian and I decided to head over to French, for some reason I pressed the "Lingot store" button (not the actual lingots in top right) and when scrolling down I saw two Norwegian bonus skills? There was one that was just general "about Norway" and I can't remember the other one, but I purchased it then when it took me back to French it wasn't in there, do I moved over to Norwegian expecting to see it but no luck.
I've re-created my steps and can't find any trace of these two bonus skills, nor can I find any information on the internet. Will the be available to me when I get further through the tree? (I'm at second checkpoint)
Or maybe it's a technical bug and I wasn't supposed to see it yet? O.o

Please see this thread on the same issue. This happens every so often, and unfortunately there's nothing we Norwegian mods can do about it.
I'd also appreciate if the links to the bonus skills were removed for this thread, as they'll only work for a minority of users, but take the lingots from anyone who tries them.
TL;DR: It's a bug. The skills exist, but the Duo devs haven't figured out how to properly release them yet.

I was then sad because I didn't have enough lingots to buy them but you bought them and nothing :( I wish they really make them. But thank you for making this discussion, I thought I was day dreaming ;)

Exactly the same thing has happened to me, about a month ago. If I worked on Norwegian then switched to French and immediately hit the Lingot Store I was offered two Norwegian bonus skills, 'about Norway' and 'Nynorsk'. However I can't download them onto the French tree (I tried) and my Norwegian tree has no bonus skills. If I then do a French lesson and then return to the Store, the bonus skills available return to the French ones. What is going on? It seems to me that someone has put some hard work into creating bonus skills that no one can access, unless this another A/B test and some Norwegian users DO have bonus skills slots and there's a bug that's sometimes revealing them to the rest of us.

I have heard that you won't get points for doing those lessons. Just because you can access them does not make it part of the tree, much like Norwegian Immersion.

Yes, those are two of them! But I can't enter the lesson in the Nynorsk one and the Norway one just repeats the single one sentence :(

same experience here! I followed Deodwyn's links. Had to repeat one sentence about a vampire 22 times - got 10XP - can't enter Nynorsk at all

That's pretty much what I feel - it'd be especially nice to have a look at Nynorsk.

I completed the first (Nynorsk) bonus skill and it did give me xp and it shows up as a gold skill when I click on the link again. I am curious as to why Duolingo doesn't allow bonus skills to be officially released?

SmallStrongMouse, Deyan161, sounds like you had the exact same as me because the lesson titles reflect my short memory of it. I wouldn't worry about me losing lingots I have plenty as I've been using Duo for a while so I'll hand some out :)
Also especially thanks to Deodwyn for actually posting links to the exact lessons I saw! I had the same issues and SmallStrongMouse, one didn't work the other was just the same sentence, however I DID get 10xp for completing it - I'm not worried as it looks like these are lessons being worked on and will maybe be added as bonus lessons in the near future :)
