Useful tool for Spanish - 4001 Spanish Verbs
I found a free app for Android called 4001 Spanish Verbs (Google Play site). It works offline and lets you search for verbs in english or spanish. When you find the verb you are looking for it sections it out by all the possible tenses/forms and shows all the possible conjugations including vos and vosotros. I have it on my phone and it has helped me improve my text conversions with spanish speaking friends, as now I can go beyond basic present indicative, and some preterite (where I am up to with duolingo). Just thought I'd mention it to my fellow students of spanish since it's great little tool! Buena Suerte!
Thanks, I'm trying it out now and it looks good.
Other Android apps that I find myself using a lot for learning Spanish are:
AnkiDroid - for flashcards https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ichi2.anki
Hangman for Spanish learners - fun little game that helps with vocabulary https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=es.irodriguez.android.hangmanes
HelloTalk - great way to meet Spanish speakers and have conversations https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hellotalk
Spanish-English Dictionary - superb, handy dictionary https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ascendo.android.dictionary.es.free
... and, of course, DuoLingo!
I LOVE Anki flashcards! And I agree, the hangman games in Spanish are pretty fun.
I've been learning Spanish for a while but couldn't find an easy-to-use conjugation app, so I built one myself – ConjuGato. It contains 1,000 of the most popular verbs, with a conjugation table for each. The first 100 verbs and two tenses are free, and upgrading to the pro version costs only $4.
In addition to the apps mentioned, one I find myself using fairly frequently is LinkedIn Pulse. It allows you to subscribe to various magazines or news feeds. I subscribe to some in Spanish, like CNN Español and El Mundo. It's well designed and a pleasure to use, but it does require a signal or wifi so it can download the stories. You can find feeds to subscribe to by searching for words like español, salud, tecnología, etc. https://www.pulse.me
Is there an equivalent for apple? I have an android but it doesn't have much space. I have an ipod. Is there a similar app I could use?
The tip is much appreciated. I downloaded it to a Kindle Fire HD and am already putting it to use.
I am glad to have shared this with my fellow students of spanish - buena suerte y digas a sus amigos
