I'm new to Swedish.

What do you guys recommend for Swedish study methods? Why did you choose Swedish to learn? I chose Swedish because i've always wanted to learn Swedish, and I couldn't find a good language learning website, but I found one!

I like the sound of the language and that's why I learn swedish. I have minors in swedish at my university and I use duolingo and memrize also. I recommend you to listen to swedish music along with reading lyrics, listen to swedish radio, reading some simple articles and watch movies with subtitles. Good luck with learning!

Yeah I do the same thing! Just watching swedish movies, listening to swedish songs and set the language of your iPad or the like to swedish, watch swedish youtubers. At first you won't have a clue about what they say, but after a while you learn to distinguish words and actually know in big lines what they're talking about! Pretty sweet to watch the process of learning

I study Swedish because my 3rd BFF is a Swedish person and I want to learn how say her language. Hint: write the Swedish word than put the English word next to it so you know what it means. I hope to be a Swedish expert someday!

"Jag har valt svenska" because I'm moving there in March and I don't want to seem like an ignorant foreigner, even though most Swedes "talar engelska bra". This website is very good. I have my Facebook and phone in Swedish, watch Swedish films with English subtitles and so on.
