J'ai fini l'arbre francais!
Finally! After months of painstaking work, I have finished the French tree with plenty of time to spare before my trip to Canada! In three months, I have finished three trees, and I could not be happier! Wish me luck in my next mission, German, as I review my already completed trees!
Congratulations! Tell me, have you already testes your conversation skills? How fluent do you feel in French? Would you say you speak French?
The only speaking practice I get is monologues, I don't feel fluent at all in French, intermediate at most, and I would not say that I "speak" French, though half the time I don't say I speak English either XD.
Good luck in Canada! It would be interesting to read about how it worked with your French when you are back. Have a nice trip!
Alors, monsieur, pourquoi vous n'avez pas l'écrit en français? (Humour) Félicitations!
Je n'ai pas l'écrit en français parce que je ne peux pas écrire tre bien XD merci
I'm so glad there's actually people interested in speaking french when going to Canada. Where are you from? I'm actually French canadian.
I'm from a small town in Pennsylvania about 40 miles from Philadelphia. I feel like I should speak French in Montreal and Quebec if I can, and having a free resource like Duolingo at my disposal and enough motivation, I thought I might as well
Well the truth is you'll have no trouble speaking only in english in both places expecially in Montreal where almost half the people there live only in english. In Quebec, you'll get to meet people who only speak french but most of them will wanna practice their english with you as it's rare to get to speak with anglophones. But in Both places, people really appreciate when anglophones talk to them in french even if they're clumsy so I think it's nice that you wanna speak french. Je ne connais pas l'arbre de français sur duolingo, mais si c'est comme celui d'allemand que je suis en train d'apprendre, tu as tout ce qu'il te faut pour te débrouiller. Je te souhaite donc bon voyage au Québec!
Congratulations. So quickly too. Have a great trip.
Try ordering food at a Quebec restaurant in French. It'll be a great challenge.
combine .... desole.....J'allais demander en francais, mais le bête 'spell check' ..... 'how many' (de mois pour terminer tout cela. Je sais ce n'est pas si bon mais j'ai essaye
Congratulations! Enjoy your trip to Canada, and I hope your learning of the German language goes well. :)
