Lost wager & ongoing streak.
I have these two notifications:
You have lost your wager. Better luck next time! 6 days ago
You earned 1 lingot for reaching a 10 day streak! 23 hours ago
As the wager was for a 7-day streak, by my logic it would take a little bending of the space-time continuum for both of these conditions to be true. Can you please help?
I did - does that lose me the wager? Seems not quite fair since a) that's the only reason I paid the $2.99 and b) it wasn't stated anywhere (I generally use the Android app) that paying to continue the streak wouldn't count for the wager.
I just looked at in the store. The way they word it is unclear. I does say maintain your streak. It doesn't say how.
They are really bad at communication.
You have to maintain the streak for 7 consequtive days. A streak freeze only freezes your streak for that day, it does not incresse it so after 7 days it will only show 6 consequtive days. Therefore the wager is lost.
However the OP paid real cash for his streak to be reinstated but for the same reason it does not reinstate the wager.
Ah - I misspoke. I didn't pay for the streak freeze that's available on the lingots page. I paid $2.99 to "continue my streak". The streak was clearly continued (currently stands at 11 days) but the wager was lost. I don't see how these conditions can coexist.
The wager is that you will maintain your streak for 7 consequtive days. You lost your streak so lost the wager. Paying to have your streak reinstated does not reinstate the wager. I cannot explain it any simpler.
