Could you say "Ich habe kleinen Hunger" in German, or is the "einen" necessary?
"Sie hat großen Hunger" is correct for "she is very hungry"; but "Ich habe kleinen Hunger" is not correct for "I am a little hungry". Can anybody explain why?
It's not idiomatic. You could say "Ich habe nicht viel Hunger".
Is "Ich habe Hunger." more common than "Ich bin hungrig." ?
If we were to use "hungrig" , how would we go about translating this sentence?
I said "Ich bin ein bisschen hungrig" and it was accepted.
