I need help

when i try to change my keyboard to russian it says its the wrong one and their is like 9 diferent types in the settings

In windows click on the window icon, go to Control panel, and under Clock, Language an Region select Change Keyboard or other input methods. Then select Change Keyboards. Click Add, then choose Russian, then hit OK.

Are you talking TYPEWRITER vs regular keyboard? Pick regular, it seems that typewriter is going away and was made for peple who learned to type before comuter era....

I use a mnemonic keyboard. It is nice, because almost all letters are in the same position as a 'normal' keyboard, except for the ones which do not have a Latin counterpart. For example s=с h=х and c=ц, but q=я and w=ш. I do highly recommend it though
