Happy to see another fan on here! :D In all seriousness, Romania is actually one of the largest producers of plums in the world, so it's not surprising to see him buying them in Bucharest! :)

I guess "prună " is the same for plum and prune?
I think to make it more confusing, prune is for the plural plums. :)
prună uscată seems to be for prune and prune uscate for prunes.
