Both JuliaJuNe2 and 39101 are correct, but these are two different uses:
1. "Давай + infinitive form of a verb"="Let's + verb"
2. "Давай" (by itself, without a verb) ≈ "go for it", "do it"

Everyone is correct, just an addition:

1a. When the verb is in perfect form, it can also be давай + the future tense of the verb: давай сделаем это, давай пойдем в кино, давай поговорим.

The meaning is equivalent, the difference with давай + inf is only that the verb is in the perfect form whereas it is imperfect in the давай + inf: давай делать, давай смотреть, давай говорить.

One other meaning: давай! or давай сюда! -- give it to me! give it here!

Very demanding, an order, very impolite, use with caution.

"Давай сюда!" can also be slang'ish or very colloquial for "come here" or "get over here".

"давай давай" - do it, hurry up

Давай! Давай! - Go, go, go!
