Troubleshooting

How do I get rid of vocabulary that is inappropriate for middle schoolers? Ordering wine, beer, etc. I clicked on the option for disabling this vocabulary, but it is all still in there.

Did you click save? Others have reported that the feature works. Go back into the settings, and see whether the setting is still set.

Thanks hughcparker! Senorita_D, please give that a try and if it does not work, send us some details about what course and lesson this is happening in. If you need to send usernames/classroom names/screenshots, please send it here.

It isn't working for a whole class of students. I could send screenshots, but it is in all the students' accounts.

OK, please send in the classroom name to where I specified above, with some examples of usernames of students you know this happened to (and please ask them to take a screenshot if this ever happens again). What devices are they using? This way I can try to reproduce the error and find the potential bug. We have to see it happening on our end so we can figure out what is happening. Thanks!

like hughcparker, click save. Also, wine and beer aren't inappropriate words for kids that age.

I did click save, but it still doesn't work. There were a few other phrases that I didn't like for that group, and we have to decide what is appropriate for our demographic. Any other ideas?

Try reloading the page or, if you know how to read HTML, try decoding the HTML.

When you go back into the settings page, does it still seem to be set as you want it?

Hmmm. Ok, I'm out of ideas. The next thing to do is what Vivisaurus said, and send in a bug report.
