A list of some good Spanish podcasts.
Here's a list of some good Spanish podcasts:
Spanish Obsessed: Beginner to advanced levels. Rob is from London and Liz is from Columbia. They have conversations about various topics. Rob makes errors now and then (mainly with gender), and Liz corrects him, which is cute and helpful. https://spanishobsessed.com/
Coffee Break Spanish - Beginner to advanced levels. Mark and Kara from Scotland teach Castilian Spanish. Mark is the teacher and Kara the student. Starts off with very beginner Spanish, so you may want to skip a few of the early ones. https://radiolingua.com/coffeebreakspanish/
Lightspeed Spanish: Beginner to advanced: Gordon from England talks to his wife Cynthia who is from Spain. Gordon is funny and comes up with lots of clever mnemonics to help you remember words. Cynthia is always teasing him about something. http://www.lightspeedspanish.co.uk/
Notes in Spanish: Beginner to Advanced. Ben is from England and Marina is from Madrid. I haven't listened to this one much, but it seems pretty good. http://www.notesinspanish.com
News in slow Spanish: Intermediate Level: Both Latino and Castiallian versions are available. New podcasts every week. The free podcast lasts about 7-8 minutes, and there is a subscription one you can pay for that is longer. https://www.newsinslowspanish.com/
Daily Spanish Pod: Beginner to Intermediate level: Made by a guy named Luis, I'm not sure where he's from, but he says his c's the Latino way. Usually 3-5 minute episodes. http://dailyspanishpod.com/
Spanish Pod 101: Beginner to Advanced. They have different speakers in different episodes, from different countries. So there is nice variety. Episodes are usually pretty short, 3-5 minutes. One frustrating thing is they mix the different levels all in the same feed. So you can end up with content that is either too easy or too hard based on your level. http://www.spanishpod101.com/
Unlimited Spanish: Intermediate - Oscar from Spain. I like this podcast because it's very understandable, and totally in Spanish. Oscar speaks slowly and clearly. He makes a new podcast every week. http://www.unlimitedspanish.com/blog/
Gracias por postar (made that up) esto! I was just looking for something like this today.
I would also recommend Español Automatico: http://www.espanolautomatico.com and Se Habla Español: http://www.ivoox.com/podcast-se-habla-espanol_sq_f1171214_1.html
Suitable for intermediate learners, I'd say. Enjoy!
Radio Ambulante is a topical free podcast produced by NPR. You can listen in Spanish or English. Many podcast players have options where you can slow down or speed up the rate of the speaker. Slowing it down was extremely helpful in learning.
It really helped me to listen. It's production value is great. When I started, I could barely catch a word here or there, and now, I'm stringing together whole concepts and story arcs.
Thanks Duolingo, I really am enjoying learning again.
To all of you who're into politics, economy and history I recommend these two youtube channels: Bully Magnets (mexican - https://www.youtube.com/user/BullyMagnets), Visual Politik (spanish - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJQQVLyM6wtPleV4wFBK06g/featured).
