Wait, in Cantonese, do you say 係 instead of 是 for ''to be''?

Nice! Note that here, we use written pronouns, so 佢 would be 他, and 哋 would be 們. What do you mean by 佢是正? If 'He is correct' then the appropriate translation would be 他是正確的.

We use 係 in slang, or conversational texts. 是 is the written and more formal one.
