"Υπάρχουν δύο κίτρινα ταξί στην πλατεία."

Translation:There are two yellow taxis in the square.

I agree vehicles are not typically in a square but on the square, unless we're talking about a geometrical form

This is still not accepted. Anyone care to comment as to why you would refuse on the square?

Same here. Commenting to bring this to the top of the forum feed

Why not accept plaza? plaza 1. a public square or open space in a city or town. from the Greek platia.

I agree, as a native English speaker (in California), I use the word "plaza" much more than "square". I only use the word "square" in the context of another word, like "town square". The word "square" alone sounds like it's missing something: on the square what?

How about "at the square"?
