Duolingo is the most popular way to learn languages in the world. Best of all, it's 100% free!

Suggestion: Save where last scrolled at

I like going through all the discussions, and it would be nice if when I go back from one of the discussions I clicked on, if the page would pick up with where I left off instead of back at the top. That way I don't have to scroll all the way down and find where I left off again because this can become quite repetitive.

A way around this (it drove me nuts until someone posted it a few months ago) is to right click on the link and then "open link in a new tab." Solves the problem. :)

Yeah I like that idea for now, but I always have so many tabs opened already to where it just becomes clustered and slows down the internet, but I guess that is just my problem.

I understand - but it's the best we can do until/if DL changes it. :)

I like the old style pagination (you click on page numbers instead of scrolling) but sites do it this loading style like duolingo now to make it more scalable and/or faster. It is probably faster because no one can really be bothered with the constant scrolling down and clicking load more so few people do it and that uses fewer resources ha.

At the least (assuming the feed of discussion won't allow for it), the forum should properly support Ctrl-Shift-Click, which is the one step shortcut for Open in New Tab.

A time saver idea for sure, but sometimes the newer responses might get placed above your place of 'scroll'. You may not want to miss them. Another approach can be for all the newer comments to show in a different color for a few moments when they come up for you the first time on your screen!
